Moriarty, art by Bryan Crowson. November 19, 2016. My friend Melissa commissioned this portrait of her husband and son as a surprise Christmas gift for him, and I have been eager to share it! His name is James Moriarty, like the Sherlock Holmes villain, so Melissa wanted a portrait with James Edward as that character, and their son James Dean as tiny Sherlock Holmes in his lap. The bubble pipe is Melissa's brilliant idea! The background includes last month's "Supermoon," as well as the November constellations.
